Draft Preamble:
Christian Men Online gaming group was formed many years ago by a gentleman (AKA CMO HeavyGun) whose desire was to be able to have fun while online gaming. This fun included a safe environment free of abusive speech and foul language. As a Christian, it was imperative that we try to provide an outreach were members could freely play games of any chosing with out the stigma of being tied to any one game. The Members could freely voice their perspective of what they know and interact with other members. This interaction was a way for each Christian Gamer to Grow in Jesus Christ.
We the members of this gaming group uphold this vision and wish to hold out a hand of welcome to all who would llike to join us.
The Interaction:
The Interaction is defined by a general set of truths that laid the ground work for deriving at specific self evident truths. These truths are impart and in full understanding as such as indicated below:
- We Believe that The Bible is the inerrant (without fault) word of God
- The Bible is inspired by God and given to men to be transcribe throughout the ages without error, when followed by the canonization process.
- The members in this gaming group are not experts in Theology but we accept:
-- That Jesus Christ died on the cross for Our Sins
-- He the Father (God) sent his only Son (Jesus Christ) to be our substitutionary payment for sin
-- That to know you can go to Heaven is as simple as Believing on Jesus Christ as your Saviour, confessing your sins to him (admitting you are a sinner), and accept what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you
- It is recognized that the members of this group are growing Christians and no one individual is perfect
- Any issue is handled with prayer and a loving spirit
