A bit of misinformation has slipped out in the public eye that we were not entirely prepared for. Thanks to the audacious response by the media we have no choice but to post a few amendments to the what the media industry has provided the public about this project and how it came to be and why it still exists today. We will be publishing those amendments shortly. Another issue we need to address is that it would appear that the good folks over at Piranha Games are saying that this project is "not official". As a professional, we have a great deal of respect for our friends in Vancouver and what they are trying to do for the MechWarrior community with MechWarrior Online. We won't be thread locking any topics here at MekTek regarding MechWarrior Online and we hope that Solaris Assault Tech can be openly discussed among the MechWarrior Online community. We apologize to the game fans for folks being banned at MechWarrior Online regarding wishing to discuss our project on their forums. This is an official product. This is not an official MechWarrior product because it does not bare the MechWarrior name. You are more than welcomed to discuss this project at MekTek!
We will be releasing more information regarding InekTek and why we choose to work under an alter ego during the development of Solaris Assault Tech using the amazing Unreal Engine (along with our proprietary engine products originally developed for the ICE engine). Stay tuned for more information regarding Solaris Assault Tech! Read story ? 0 comments ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
